The opioid epidemic has cost the U.S. more than a trillion dollars since 2001, and may exceed another $500 billion over the next three years. Please join AIMBE and the Research & Development Caucus for an important discussion about how biomedical engineers are working to solve this problem through research and development supported by federal science agencies, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
