The Coalition for Health Funding works to influence all stages of the budget and appropriations process. With the collective appreciation that “a rising tide lifts all boats,” Coalition for Health Funding members work collaboratively to secure a strong, overall funding allocation for public health programs. On an annual basis, the Coalition for Health Funding facilitates:
Education about the public health continuum through our annual congressional briefing, congressional testimony, and press releases.
Outreach to policymakers on the budget committees, the appropriations committees, and the administration’s health leadership, including the Office of Management and Budget.
Coordination through community-wide letter campaigns, action alerts, and talking points to promote a unified message and funding request.
